Starbucks “The Way I See It” Series – #2
Marriage…that word conjures up many different feeling for so many people. Lucky for me, that word makes me feel thankful, happy, fulfilled. However, the cup is right. Like the saying goes, “If mama ain’t happy, ain’t nobody happy”. It works both ways…not just with mama.
I’m a lucky girl. I have a wonderful husband, and it’s not often that we really fight, but when we do we’re definitely not happy. Same goes for times when one of us has had a bad day, or are frustrated about something. The other can’t really be happy until the other is better.
It’s means a lot in a marriage relationship to have someone that is able to understand and empathize with what you are going through. It’s an amazing feeling to have someone to share in the things that are the most joyful times, and to cry with you when you go through the tough times.
I’m thankful to have such an amazing marriage. I love you baby!
Oh yeah…and the bathroom thing…I don’t necessarily agree, but that’s a whole different post
How do you see it?

Wanna Be A Rock Star?

I ran across this fun “Band Bio Generator” thanks to Relevant Magazine Online. If you’ve got a few minutes & want to know how it feels to be a rock star, it’s a fun way to try it!
Here’s my band bio:
A history of rock icons: She Likes Cloth
After polishing their musical chops for years in an abandoned warehouse outside of St. Simons Island, She Likes Cloth (reference to Teen Girl Squad #12) rose to the pinnacle of the rock scene in 2006 with their debut album, Everybody Loves Cotton. The band’s latest album, Wool Over Her Eyes, merges Leslie James’s testosterone fueled vocals with road-seasoned riffs to create an album highlighting rock for a new generation of fans. With standout tracks like “Synthetic,” the music of She Likes Cloth appeals to rock fans and non-rock fans alike.
*The above bio is a fictional account of a band that doesn’t exist (at least not yet), and is meant solely to make you laugh and procrastinate doing any real work today. Any similarity to a real band, living or dead, is purely coincidental. And very weird.
